team LIMBAUGH!!!

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart--Psalm 37:4
I guess the above picture says it all! YES, we are pregnant and expecting our first child the beginning of December. We are currently 14 weeks along, and pretty much over the moon excited! The above ultrasound photo was taken at 10 weeks.
1.) When are you due?
We are due around December 8th, 2010.
2.) Was this planned?
Yes, it was "planned" so to speak. We tried for quite some time for this little one. We had many months which turned into over a year of struggles to conceive this little one. We went through numerous fertility tests, and just when I thought it might never happen, God showed his mercy on us. This was quite a struggle at times, as many people, especially at our age, seem to get pregnant without even trying, we began to think what is wrong with us?! It was a great reminder to put our faith and trust in God and that he is the creator of life, and even though I am a nurse, and can get "caught up" in the science behind it, God is the ultimate giver of life, not humans, or doctors. It was a time in our life that brought us both closer to our heavenly father.
Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:16
3.) How have you been feeling?
To sum it up into one word--terrible. It has been a rough first trimester, but am hoping that the second one brings less nausea and more energy. I found that it was very hard to work everyday when you feel terrible, and still act as if you feel great, so that your coworkers don't figure anything out. I remember on several occasions I asked Justin to just "put me out of my misery", and when he said he couldn't do that, I asked him to just "knock me out for at least a couple of months!" I am feeling a little better now, than in the earlier weeks, so that is a blessing.
4.) Are we going to find out what we're having?
Yup, hopefully, as long as baby cooperates we will be finding out if it's PINK or BLUE!
5.) Are you showing yet?
Nope, I feel like my belly/body definitely doesn't look like it used to, but no bump yet. I have actually lost a few pounds.
Every good and perfect gift is from above--James 1:17
