Happy One Month Birthday Austin!

Where has the time gone? Austin already turned one month old on 01.13.2011. This last month has gone by so quickly, and I feel like I am finally starting to peek my head out of the trench that I have been living in! It has taken a lot of adjusting to taking care of a newborn, but we are enjoying every minute, and can't believe how fast he is growing and changing already! I am just trying to savor every moment, even if it is at 2:00 in the morning!

What he has been up to:
-He has taken two overnight trips so far, one to Grandpa and Grandma Kiewiet's for Christmas weekend, and one to Grandpa and Grandma Limbaugh's for Christmas on New Years weekend
-At his two week appointment he weighed 8lbs 9.3 ounces, I have no idea what he weighs now
-He has smiled maybe twice, we're working on more
-He recognizes his mom and dad's voices
-We are trying to settle into a routine--this works better on some days than others :)
-He has slept up to 6-7 hours at night, but this isn't a routine yet...hopefully soon
-He holds his head up and kicks with a lot of force!
