37 Weeks!

37 Weeks marks full term! It's getting closer and we're getting more done everyday.

The new light got hung up in the baby's room
Dimmer switch put on
Carseat base installed in the car
Diaper bag is ready
Christmas lights up!
Leaves all picked up
Snowblower in the garage and ready for the winter
Christmas shopping getting closer to being done
The house has been cleaned and scrubbed down and the downstairs family room, and stairwell/entryway has been painted thanks to the help from my mom!
We also had missionaries stay at our house, and hosted a dessert reception a week ago, so I am feeling much better now since that is done.
And---almost all the Christmas Missionary gifts from our Christmas missionary project we took on have been sent out---HUGE accomplishment!

I have another appointment tomorrow, but last week's appointment things were going great. I was 1cm dilated, 20% effaced and still at +2. We will see what he says tomorrow! I am feeling great too. My only complaints are a really sore pelvis and tailbone, but really nothing to complain about! I feel very blessed to have had such a healthy pregnancy thus far. It's also really fun because we have been able to kind of make out which part of the baby is moving through my belly. You can feel his little buns, knees and feet protruding through my belly daily.

Here is what baby is up to according to my 37 week email---

Your baby's weight gain slows considerably, but he's got just a little more room to grow. Essential fat (aka baby fat) will continue to form. This will round him out and help him stay warm after birth. He weighs more than 6 pounds. from strongmoms.com

Your baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, his lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. (Some babies need a bit more time, though. So if you're planning to have a repeat c-section, for example, your practitioner will schedule it for no earlier than 39 weeks unless there's a medical reason to intervene earlier.)
Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children come out as blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.--from babycenter.com
